Thrive Cyber is a grassroots technology company established in Webb City, Missouri. Founder, Tim White has been working in the IT industry since 2003, when he got his start as an on campus support technician at Pittsburg State University.
He's a proud father of two great kids and husband to a wonderful wife.
Through the years he has served in many roles including high school technology teacher, both in Missouri and overseas, public school IT director and instructional coach, senior technical engineer, IT leader and security consultant for many small and medium size businesses across the USA. His clients span multiple sectors including Banking, Medical, Accounting, Food service, Energy and Public Works, Manufacturing, Construction, Legal, Government, Non-profit, and Education.
He holds multiple professional IT and security certifications from Microsoft, Tegile, Sonicwall, and ISC2, including the CISSP, the leading cybersecurity credential respected worldwide. These studies combined with decades of experience have equipped him for managing and securing networks, servers, firewalls, wireless, storage, cloud technologies, and AI systems for safe and effective access in the modern workplace.
A note from Tim:
"One of my passions is helping people learn how to thrive in their use of technology. We all have an end goal for what we're doing each day, and why we come into work. More and more, technology is becoming the central component of our daily grind, but it shouldn't be in charge of us or make us fearful. And it shouldn't cost us every dime we're earning, just to survive. Thrive Cyber is my effort to give back to hometown businesses and organizations in the communities we love, providing high end services at rates you can afford.
In February 2025 I experienced a unique opportunity to do something different and take a step of faith. In this new journey I'm venturing out together with our community, to make a difference for hometown businesses and my family. I've spent a lot of years learning from great people and serving some of the hardest working teams you'll ever find.
